The advantage to the single strap design of this Maxpedition® Gearslingers™ is the ease at which you can shift the bag from your back to your chest to access gear. From a survivalist perspective this makes it a great addition to your main back-pack, enabling you leave deeper packed gear untouched between camps.
Main pocket compartment: 11” tall x 7” wide x 4” deep/ 27.9 cm x 17.8 cm x 10.2 cm; With 4 slip pockets on the internal face and back, plus additional mesh slip pockes x 2.
Front Pocket: 7” tall x 7” wide x 2” deep/ 17.8 cm x 17.8 cm x 5.1cm With internal slip pockets, velcro patch for attachments and keyper.
Front sleeve pocket: 6.5” tall x 6.5” wide/ 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm; with anti-theft device on zipper.
Rear pocket Compartment: 12” tall x 8” wide /30.5cm x 20 cm; with internal loop fixture. N.B. Essential survival kit that you could fit in the rear compartment; a50 oz/1.5 ltre camelbak hydration resevoir (There are loops along the strap to thread the pipe through).
Side pocket: 7” tall x 2.5” wide/ 17.8 cm x 6.4 cm; a drawsting pocket securable with toggle cinch. N.B Essential survival kit that you could fit in the rear compartment; a 32oz/1L bottle.
The 270 degree sling around innovation works a treat. When you are relying on small bits of equipment or parafanlia, you can become become quite attached these bags.
The easy side opening of the Noatak makes this a very usable accessory.
